DOUBLEWEAVE WORKSHOP

Doubleweave pickup is a combination of weaver and loom controlled techniques that manipulate two warps simultaneously. The warps can be kept as separate fabrics, or pulled through one another using pick up sticks to build complex patterning and structure. This course is for weavers who have completed two to three intermediate workshops, or are coming in with previous outside knowledge. We will be creating pieces measuring 2’ x 4-6’ depending on the student.

Be advised:
This workshop is only open to participants who have already attended an introductory weaving workshop and at least two intermediate courses!

TIME: 9:00AM-2:00PM Sundays + Saturdays, Weekdays
5:00PM-9:00PM Weeknights

Note: Eat before you weave. Bring a clean snack if you get peckish as this workshop takes place during lunch on weekend days / supper time on weeknights!
